On the 29th of September, Turin Brakes play the rather posh East Winter Garden (pictured) in London.
The East Wintergarden in the heart of London’s Canary Wharf opened in October 2003 and is proving to be a favourite for corporate, private and charity events. Ceremonies can be hosted in either the main hall for up to 600 guests seated, the Gallery, suspended above the main floor, for up to 120, or the Promenade Room for up to 40 guests seated. The ceremony can then be followed by a reception, wedding breakfast and party. All within the contemporary surroundings of Canary Wharf.
I’m not sure what part of the Garden TB are playing but it starts at 7.45 pm (doors at 7 pm). Tickets can be obtained via Ticketweb.co.uk (or call 0844 847 2268) and cost 18 GBP (exclusive things that will probably make it cost more). It’s been a while since TB last played a proper London gig so this should be nice. Let’s all go! Also, there will be a support act and the whole night will probably be acoustic (since the event is called Acoustic After Hours with… Turin Brakes).
