Oh yeah watching Turin Brakes live at the Northampton Roadmender!! Support was from Ed harcourt & 2 other act who I can’t remember!! All for a fiver,what a bargain!!
Amazing gig & they played the small room in the Roadmender so we were really up close & personal. I can remember the crowd had a bit of banter with the lads about what the music press had said about The Optimist,& when one of them said “how do you know all this?” I shouted out “cos we can read” Well it was funny at the time!!
Anyway fantastic gig from a fantastic band!!!
