Somewhere between Cambridge and Ipswitch, Google Maps tells me, there is the town by the name Bury St Edmunds. Local venue The Apex is hosting a gig of our favourite band! On 12 October 2012! The blurb reads:
Following the release of the album Outbursts and last autumn’s sell out Optimist LP anniversary tour, Turin Brakes embark on a few special one-off shows and festival appearances in the run up to recording their new album. The Turin Brakes duo of Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian along with long time band members Rob Allum (drums), and Eddie Myer (bass) will be playing a full band set of favourite tunes from their 10 year career and maybe one or two new ones too…
