Details have emerged about Turin Brakes’ SXSW shows next month. According to Pollstar, Turin Brakes are playing 2 shows at the festival. Only one of the shows (the one on March 13) has been confirmed by the official website, but it’s not uncommon to play more than one show at SXSW, so hopefully the other one is too!
March 10 – New York, N.Y., Mercury Lounge (Doors: 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm set time – 21 AND OLDER)
March 13 – Austin, Texas, Palm Door on Sabine (SXSW) (11:00 pm – 11:40 pm)
March 14 – Austin, Texas, Waterloo Records Parking Lot (SXSW) (7 PM – FREE SHOW)
March 17 – West Hollywood, Calif., Troubadour (doors: 8 pm, ALL AGES GIG)
UPDATE (BY GLEN IN THE COMMENTS SECTION): Good news. Their SXSW show at the Palm Door will require a SXSW music pass to the tune of $795 USD (gets you access to all shows for the full week). Their show at Waterloo records will be free.
