Turin Brakes record lullabies for BBC Dermot O’Leary show

TB-studio5-12_credit_Andy_WillsherTurin Brakes have recorded a series of lullaby for Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 show. Last Saturday, the first song “to help the nation’s toddlers go to sleep.”

Tune in here at 2 hours and 52 minutes to first here Red Moon (the EP version) and then the first lullaby at 2.55, a cover Somebody’s Calling My Name. Not sure whether these are made by Olly and Gale or the full band (since it’s mainly guitars and vocals on this one). The other two lullabies will be aired over the next weeks at the end of each show.

As far as I know the lullabies are exclusive to the show (Gomez and The Magic Numbers have also done them) and are not planned to be released anywhere else as yet. But one can hope… And if every lullaby is preceded by another Turin Brakes track, that’s great too ;).
