Turin Twinkle Little Star (2nd BBC Radio 2 lullaby)

Last Saturday, Dermot O’Leary played Fishing For A Dream followed by the second of Turin Brakes’ exclusive trilogy of lullabies on his BBC Radio 2 show (I’m still hoping they might be released on a little EP on iTunes or something?). It only showed up on iPlayer recently, hence the late posting of said lullaby.

This week’s lullaby is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and as Dermot exlaims after the airing of it: “it’s so Turin Brakes” with lovely slide guitar, great vocals and a nice rhythm underneath. The segment starts approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes in to the show, first with Fishing For A Dream and then the lullaby.

  1. Thanks for posting that, would have missed it otherwise. Is there still a link to the first one?

  2. Well, I’ve managed to rip the stream from the BBC site so I can upload it when I get the chance :). The original link is gone sadly. Will do the same with no. 2 and 3.
