Some mouth-watering news now, as it has been confirmed that Turin Brakes are playing gig that you SHOULD go to on an empty stomach. River Cottage, known from Channel 4, is a working farm that organizes events varying from cooking courses to music nights. They have a special music guest for the Foodfair 2016 this 29th of May. Yup: it’s Turin Brakes.
Held on Saturday 28, Sunday 29 and Monday 30 May 2016, the fair will be a hands-on celebration of all things River Cottage, with market stalls selling fresh produce, crafts and gifts, animals to encounter and plenty of outdoor activities to help you work up an appetite. You’ll be able to get your cookbooks signed by Hugh himself, and our other River Cottage experts will be on hand to share their culinary tips and seeds of gardening wisdom – all set against the backdrop of TV’s most famous farmhouse.
HOWEVER, tickets to the Foodfair won’t help you see Turin Brakes, tickets for TB’s gig at the Cottage on 29 May are sold separately and cost 18 GBP. More info here.
