Turin Brakes play 30th anniversary London gig for Cooking Vinyl

Turin Brakes are headlining an intimate gig celebrating Cooking Vinyl’s 30th birthday. Cooking Vinyl has released Outbursts, We Were Here and Lost Property. In addition to their massive UK tour and sold-out London date, Turin Brakes will play a gig on 5 December at the Lexington, supported by Alison Moyet on acoustic guitar and piano, and others.

Tickets cost 20 GBP for the night and 50 GBP for all three gigs Cooking Vinyl are organizing. But sadly tickets have already sold out by the time I post this. All profits from the commercial activities surrounding Cooking Vinyl’s 30th Anniversary will be donated to charity.

Also available are a book and box set to celebrate CV’s 30th. Turin Brakes are included in the compilation with Keep Me Around, the successful single from Lost Property. The book contains 50 interviews with ‘key players’ in the label’s history. You can pre-order that in various formats here. More info on all the happenings here.
