Behind the music video
Turin Brakes are releasing a series of videos where they talk about each of the songs on the album in order. The first video sneakily talks only about the already released songs, so no new music in the world just yet but you can hear about how Would You Be Mine and Wait were created. The video can be watched on the homepage of the official store.
Acoustic ‘Wait’ version
Released as a single on Spotify and iTunes and other digital outlets is a lovely, acoustic version of the new single Wait. It’s been stuck in my head as a up-tempo happy clappy single, but this new version turns it into a lovely ballad that shows a bit more of the “darkness” that the band talk about in the video above. Acoustic session on BBC Radio 2
Great news! New single Wait has been playlisted on BBC Radio 2. Which means you can hear the song regularly on one of the UK’s most popular stations. Hurrah! TB joined longtime fan and Radio 2 DJ Dermot O’Leary for his Saturday breakfast show. You can listen back below. The band play Wait live and Painkiller (Summer Rain) as well as talk about the recording of the new album.
