After this year’s Cropredy festival was cancelled due to COVID-19, the festival’s organisers and iconic folk rock band Fairport Convention have teamed up with the festival’s line-up to release a charity ensemble version of Meet Me On The Ledge. Normally, this would have been the festival’s epic finale, but it was not meant to be this year. Hence, this charity ensemble version featuring Rob and Olly from Turin Brakes.
Proceeds of the single go to Help Musicians UK, to help musicians get through the COVID-19 crisis.
The song can be streamed on many platforms, as well as being available as a music download.
This year’s festival has been moved to 2021, with all tickets remaining valid. Turin Brakes are scheduled to appear on 13 August 2021, if the world still exists then.
In related COVID-19-news: Turin Brakes rescheduled dates for October 2020 have been rescheduled once again, this time to June 2021. So it’s looking increasingly unlikely Turin Brakes will perform live again in 2020. Better spin another record then…
