Turin Brakes got back on the road properly last night with the first show of The Optimist Lp 20th Anniversary tour. In Southampton, the band played the full album and then some. Among the ‘some’ was a brand-new tune called Isolation. If you heard it, let us know what you think!
I do not know a lot about the song, so I won’t speculate on its themes and grooves until I’ve heard it myself. For those interested in the full setlist of the show, see the image HERE (I’ve hidden it behind a text link in case you want to be surprised). Thanks to John Q for sharing it :).
From fans in attendance we hear the show has been a great success. Support for this show was by Pete Aves.
If anyone manages to capture pics or videos from the upcoming dates, feel free to send them my way so I can share them on the site. 🙂 And hopefully everyone can enjoy a live gig after all the COVID19-stuff. For many of us it will be the first proper live show since a very long time. So stay safe, do what feels right and enjoy the music in whatever way you can.
