Turin Brakes sound mixer and ‘dear friend’ of the band Simon passed away last week. He’d been part of the Turin Brakes family for over 14 years. On the many UK tours the band played, Simon did sound mixing and was an integral part of TB operations. He always was, as a lot of Turin Brakes fans will know, a lovely man who made time for a friendly chat. The world of Turin Brakes will not be the same without him.
As the band said in an Instagram-post: “We will miss him forever, the most charming cheeky and unique man, golden eared and punk of attitude. We love you Simon.”
