Ticket prices vary from 1-day to 3-day tickets for the festival. “When London-based duo Turin Brakes started making music 14 years ago, they were, in a way, ahead of the times. Long before the Folk genre underwent its renaissance, long time friends Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian combined Brit-Pop with Folk elements. Their debut album, which was released in 2001, received rave reviews and was nominated for the acclaimed Mercury Prize. Since then Turin Brakes have sold over one million records worldwide. End of September their sixth album “We Were Here” will see the light of day and before the band will go on tour with it, we managed to book them for the Reeperbahn Festival. To make sure that their songs sound as lush and beautiful as they do on record, Knights and Paridjanian will be accompanied by drummer Rob Allum and bass player Eddie Myer.”
