Olly: ‘Its fun to play live as well. With ‘Self help’ I was kind of taking the piss out of self-help culture and the whole idea of that. its very tongue in cheek actually. Its the author of a self help book needing help himself, and that’s basically it. It feels like its one of those songs where you can imagine an army plodding along and singing it. Its one of those universal things. I just imagine in my head an army walking a long to the beat and singing the words in a very post modern way.
